Stephen Poole

Senior Environmental Consultant

Stephen Poole is an Environmental Scientist with 25 years experience across a wide range of related environment, development assessment and land use planning fields. This includes ecological/environmental planning and assessment (including extensive EIS – both the preparation and assessment of EIS); development assessment; land use planning and strategic planning (including review); environmental policy formulation and development, strategic conservation initiatives; environmental marketing; sustainable design; comparative biodiversity evaluation; ecotourism planning and strategy (including best practice); bushland acquisition; securing specialised funds for ecological initiatives; expert witness; invited keynote speaker roles; environmental management plans; wildlife management; noise measurement and policy, environmental education and landscape and wildlife photography.

Stephen has been a consultant to many corporate clients and local authorities and also to State Government and the education sector operating through his company Ecological Planning & Assessment Pty. Ltd., including as a consultant to: University of Qld., Unimin Pty. Ltd.; AMP; Titanium Enterprises; Development Consulting Pty.
